How To Make The Perfect Cup Of Tea — February 9, 2018

How To Make The Perfect Cup Of Tea

CHOOSE A TEA TO SUIT YOUR MOOD

Your choice of tea should depend to a large extent on how you feel, that is your mood. For example if you need some help digest that fantastic but abundant meal, try a nice cup of peppermint tea. On the other hand, if you need help unwinding after a busy stressful day and would like to have a peaceful sleep then why not try a chamomile. Finally, if you need to stay awake and energized, try a cup of black tea.

CHOOSE YOUR FAVOURITE MUG OR CUP

Now that you have chosen what blend of tea to drink, you need to have the perfect cup or mug to drink it from. Do not underestimate the importance of your cup or mug. It is a key aspect of enjoying your tea. If you drink the tea from your favourite cup, the tea will automatically taste better.
Now it’s time for the next step…

ALWAYS USE FRESHLY DRAWN COLD WATER

Never, never reboil the water left in the kettle because there is no oxygen and good tea loves oxygen to give its best. Always use freshly drawn cold water (filtered if possible) in the kettle. Tea loves oxygen as it helps the tea’s flavor develop.

GET THE WATER TEMPERATURE RIGHT

Leave water for a few minutes to cool down. It will produce a very hot cup of tea and will give you better results.
Never and never pour boiling water over a tea bag or loose tea because the boiling water will burn the tea and won’t release all of its maximum flavors.
Therefore, let your water rest for about 2-3 minutes and then it’s ready to be poured onto your tea.

And now enjoy your cup of tea!!!
